Barnsley Woman Tells Of Torment As Left Buttock Loses Out In Postcode Lottery

A Barnsley woman has told of her anguish as she realised that her left buttock had become the latest victim of the NHS postcode lottery.
Sheila Munch, 37, from Wombwell says that each of her buttocks was allocated it’s own postcode in 2015 when her weight topped 35 stones for the first time, but she hadn’t realised the implications until she developed a painful boil on her left buttock and made an appointment to see her GP.
“I wor gutted,” a clearly distraught Sheila told The Bugle “He told me that if it was my right buttock I could get it done straight away, but my left arse cheek comes under a different authority. They will only lance the bugger if it gets bigger than a grapefruit. I don’t even know what a grapefruit looks like.”
Sheila’s GP Dr Mike Hunt was sympathetic but said there was nothing he could do “Sometimes an arse gets so big that Royal Mail feel it necessary to split its postcode.” he told The Bugle “Sometimes there are unforeseen implications, as in this case. It’s just unfortunate.”
As The Bugle went to press, Sheila had made an appointment to visit a Greengrocer to view some Grapefruits.
