Roseanne Barr To Play Ron Atkinson In New Biopic

In a move which has stunned Hollywood, The Bugle can reveal that Roseanne Barr is set to play ex-football manager Ron Atkinson in a new biopic. The American star is already understood to be working on her west Midlands accent and make-up artists are working around the clock to come up with a lifelike bulbous nose and comb-over.
An insider told the Bugle “I know a lot of people are going to be surprised by this, what with Roseanne being American, female and about a foot and a half shorter than Ron, but we wanted someone who could connect with the part on a more fundamental level. We feel we’ve got that with Roseanne.”
Filming is expected to start in late summer once the Nigerian football team, who are rumoured to have been recruited as extras for a scene at West Bromwich Albion’s Hawthorns ground, have returned from The World Cup.
