Coronavirus Daily Update to replace Not Going Out on Dave

In what insiders see as a major coup, TV Channel Dave has bought up all episodes of the popular daily show ‘Coronavirus Daily Update’ and will start rerunning them from next week. Filming of new episodes stopped earlier this week. The show is expected to replace previously rerun favourites including Not Going Out and Would I Lie To You?
A spokesperson for Dave told us “This is the biggest thing for us since we got Top Gear. Our research tells us that sad bastards, who make up a large portion of our demographic, are already missing the show and want to watch it all again from episode one. The only difference will be that each episode will run to two hours with the ad’s.”
The Bugle understands that news of the deal has already prompted a flood of interest from advertisers including those in the health insurance, funeral planning and financial insolvency fields.
